Preachin' Time

Tuesday I recieved a call to preach @ Ball Road Baptist Church. The Pastor is Jimbo Seaton and he had to be out of town so, he asked that I fill in for him. I preached on "Season's of the Soul" My text was from Ecc. 3:1-8. I had a good time preaching it and I believe the lord blessed some hearts through the message. Thatnk the Lord for the opportunity to preach and use the call that God has put on my life. Amen.

Today is Monday, November 7, 2005. Yesterday was the first Sunday back at our church. We had two good meetings with Two Great messages, Sunday Morning Message by my Father-In-Law, Tim Rauhuff. Sunday Night was by Evangelist James Lockard. I have to say though, it was hard to be back, I missed everyone for sure, and I know they missed us, but I would have loved to be somewhere preaching. We had a fellowship after both services with ham, deep fried turkey and all the fixings, oh my it was great.

Please help me pray that God would lead Cedar Bluff, and me in the decision of Pastor. I know God will put the man there that He wants, I just DO NOT want to be a hindrance of any kind. So please help us pray that God have his way. There are a few men that have been there that I know, and both of them preach the bible straight. The pulpit committee is bathing their decision is prayer so I know that they will follow His leadership.
