Glory

I had the great opportunity to preach again this week at Cedar Bluff Baptist & the Sevierville Juvenile Detention Center. Both services at Cedar Bluff were great. I was wore out after preaching, I'm not sure what was different this Sunday, but I really felt God preaching through me. Praise the Lord. At the detention center, we had a wonderful time. A group from Seymour Baptist Tabernacle has been coming up with us and singing and playing the guitar. You wouldn't believe the difference it was having music behind the singing. I preached the same message I preached at Cedar Bluff, "Neither do I condemn thee, Go and sin no more" Using John 8 as the text. Well, after the message, the group from Seymour sang "When He was on the Cross, I was on His mind" and the boys there started coming forward. I got the opportunity to pray with two of them, One (Justin) rededicated his life to Christ, and purposed to live for Him, and another (John, who was saved a month ago in the center) needed to get help praying for his family. There was once other boy that rededicated his life to Christ, and one (Cody) got saved by God's Grace.
Society, family, and even some churches are giving up on the youth of America, but God hasn't. I thank God for the priviledge to preach to these young folks every month. Thanks also to Paul Carver, (Missionary with Rock of Ages; to the incarcerated youth) for inviting me to preach there and to offer a Service that I could preach every month.

Sunday night still excited about what God did in the center, I preached "Be ye Thankful" and again felt God's power and presence. Thank you Lord for your Blessings.

On the road again...soon

I told you last time that in April I had the opportunity to preach at my home church in Florida, well I got a call last Sunday from Pastor Glenn Tillis, asking me to come preach a youth meeting. I say Praise the Lord! I will update you on what happens there. I have another set of pictures of Cedar Bluff that I need to post. I'll try to post those tonight, maybe.

Where we've been.

Well over the past few months since I've posted we've been in Florida, Georgia, and Back in Tennessee.

I had the great opportunity of Preaching at my Home Church in Palatka, Florida on April 23, 2006. I had a great time and was able to see some of my mentors. One man in particular, is Ronald Brantley. I call him Bro. Pa. I didn't get to spend a lot of time with them but at least I got to talk to them all. From Palatka we went to a Campmeeting in Americus, Georgia and stayed the week with Lori's aunt and uncle there. From there went went up to Dahlonega, Georgia and stayed with Pastor Mark Biddy and his family. I was able to preach for him at Harvest Baptist April 30, 2006. We finally got open Monday morning @ 2:20 a.m. A very long trip but much needed.

Here's Lighthouse's sign. They've just done a lot of work to their building parking lot and everything. We had a wonderful meeting.

Here's the outside of Lighthosue. This is in Americus, GA they used to have a clay/sand parking lot and trees everywhere. Now, they've taken the trees down and paved the parking lot, and built a new fellowship hall. It looks great.

Samuel Atkisson from the group Ricky Atkisson and Compassion playing the bass guitar with Lori's uncle David Dent. We had a great night that night. It was the last night of the meeting and three people got saved and three or four just got right with got and a whole lot of people got revived.

Harvest Baptist in Dahlonega, GA (maybe Dawsonville)

This was after church Sunday Night we had two great services and a great time of fellowship .

We've also been at Ridgeway baptist Churhc in Seymour a few times since April first, their Pastor resigned and I was filling in for him. Pray for him(Eddie Kitts) and his wife Martha they are both precious people. Also we've been at Cedar Bluff in west Knoxville for the past few weeks, and will be there the rest of this month. They are still considering me as Pastor along with a few other men. Pray that God's will be done there. Not only do I want God's will in my life but also for the other men and especially the church. So please pray for us while we're there this month.

I hope to keep you more up to date than I have in the past.
